RunnerRunner
Runner Runner is the latest in a long line of popular slot machines from the StakeLogic stable that combine classic gameplay with some modern, up to date prizes. The mystery jackpot is the ultimate aim here but, for those who aren’t lucky enough to claim the top wins, there is the potential for more regular returns in the base game.
Lovers of nostalgia are sure to be delighted with Runner Runner so please take a moment and we’ll talk you through the gameplay.
Runner Runner Features
The base game in Runner Runner features a stripped back reel grid that is laid down in a 3x3 format. There is one central payline and the task at this stage is to match symbols across it. The images in question are classic fruit machine icons that you may well have seen in land based casinos across the world.
Battling to align on that central payline are pears, watermelons, plums, oranges and grapes plus some yellow bells. At the end of every spin, players have the option to hold reels if they feel it increases their chances of winning. Aside from that small twist, it’s a simple concept so far but Runner Runner can get more complex.
Choose Your Reels
In exchange for an increased bet, players can look to spin the separate reel grid which appears in the top right hand corner of the screen. This is also in the same 3x3 format but, there are three extra symbols available and the number of paylines has been increased to five.
With red lucky 7s, strawberries and blue stars now in play, the gameplay is broader and those additional paylines mean that there are more chances to land a winning spin. The hold feature no longer appears but the positives outweigh that small downside.
Runner Runner also has that progressive jackpot with the meter showing the current prize level appearing at the top left. The slot features classic play with some small, but potentially valuable quirks and, if you’d like to take in for a spin, it’s online and ready to play at Unibet.
