Aloha 98
It’s time to go on our travels and head to what is a popular destination for online slot machines. The Pacific Islands have provided a backdrop for a number of titles but there are many reasons why Aloha! Cluster Pays is up there with the best.
Released back in 2016 by the developers at NetEnt, this slot combines colourful graphics with some cool features and a cluster pays system that links in to modern arcade games.
Aloha Features and Bonus
The slot is set on a 6x5 reel grid and there are no traditional paylines this time. Instead, by using the cluster pays method, we are looking to line up at least nine matching symbols - either horizontally or vertically - on that grid system.
There are three base game symbols including three Tiki masks and then we have a flower, a shell, a coconut and a pineapple. Of those images, the red Tiki mask is the most valuable with a mighty 10,000x coin stake coming back for those who can match 30 in a row.
Wild Times
If you spin Aloha! Cluster Pays for any length of time, you should see another symbol showing a box with a question mark. This is the wild and it has the potential to replace the highest value image as it hunts down a matching combination. The only base game symbol that the wild cannot replace is the free spins scatter which leads to a cool bonus feature.
At least three of those scatters need to land, anywhere in view, and when that happens, a free spins round will initiate. Three scatters will trigger nine initial spins and these levels move upwards to the upper limit of 12 spins for six scatter icons. These spins can be retriggered by landing more scatters and there are added bonuses in this section.
As the spins progress, lower value symbols will fall away, leaving only the higher paying options on the grid. Finally, if you don’t land an immediate win on your very last free spin, those reels will keep spinning until a match and a cash prize eventually drops by.
